About the Artist
DiTa Ondek lives at the end of a midcoast peninsula in the town of Tenants Harbor, Maine. She is a creative initiator with experience as a Web Developer, painter and poet. She is an accomplished artist (watercolors, Polaroid transfers, and digital photography) currently working on a series of acrylic paintings that reflect her poetic whimsy and prismatic view of Maine nature. DiTa has work in The Port Clyde Art Gallery and Kefauver Studio and Gallery (Damariscotta). She has been described as a colorist. She has painted a series of Maine Farm Produce and Maine Farm Animals in addition to these Farmhouse Interiors. Her website www.dita.org currently displays a series of vintage and abandoned Maine vehicles. DiTa has been published in The Loft Anthology, one of the finalist in their 2013 Ephrastic Contest, Anapura, and The Avocet, Jump Lines, Taste of Ink Anthology and her chapbook: A Goldfinch’s Winter Garden. She is a member of the Ink Bone Poets.
