The Great Recession hasn't hit Maine as hard as some states and that's reflected in the Maine Philanthropy Center's annual report about charitable giving. Giving is down, but the fall has been more shallow than national averages might suggest. MPBN's Irwin Gratz sat down recently with Janet Henry, president of the Maine Philanthropy Center, to talk about what she sees in the numbers.
