Maine Local Foods Access Network

Maine Local Foods Access Network’s vision is that everyone in Maine has access to the abundance of food from Maine producers.

MFT is a founding member of this coalition of Maine organizations committed to growing access to local food in various ways. MLFAN’s current priority is expanding nutrition incentives such as Farm Fresh Rewards and Maine Harvest Bucks that increase the value of federal nutrition assistance dollars spent at participating farmers markets, CSAs, and retail stores selling local produce.

Organizations in MLFAN include 5210 Let’s Go, Cultivating Community, Good Shepherd Food Bank, Healthy Acadia, Maine Farmland Trust, Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets, Maine SNAP-Ed, Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), St. Mary’s Nutrition Center, and Wholesome Wave.
